On the morning of our bridge climb, we were up before dawn to experience sunrise from our hotel roof, overlooking the Opera House.  With a clear sky forecast it was bound to be spectacular.

Unfortunately, during the night someone had built a huge metal apartment block to spoil the view.  If you look carefully, you will just see the top of one of the roof shells under the sun canopies between the pair of funnels.
