Our new neighbours, good friends Gabriella and Takeshi insisted that they entertain us for a welcome dinner on the day we moved into our new apartment.

Now living opposite each other across the elevator lobby I didn’t protest as it was a lovely gesture and instead of thinking about catering for my family I could remain focused on unpacking boxes to transform the apartment to home before Christmas.

The table was laden with delicious food as you can see from the photo, and Tiramisu, prepared by the children Kada and Noemi, was served as a dessert. Delicious. 

It is nice to have a family quite literally as close friends with whom we have lots in common. We look forward to a continued happy life in our new apartment.
