With the first anniversary of our arrival just a matter of days away, it was time to go back to the Inbound Health Assessment Centre to obtain the mandatory medical report before residency renewal application could be made to the Board of Investment.

Last year the building was a hive of activity, but this year with the airport and marine port both closed and only renewals being processed, it was largely empty.

I wasn\’t sure whether to be proud of my report or worried when I first saw it though!  Thankfully, DIE stands for Department of Immigration and Emigration and not news of my demise!
