Sunday 26th February 2023

Just me and mummy had a special time on the roof top of one of Colombo’s Kingsbury Hotel.  A sundowner each. Mummy sipping a sweet pineapple Daquari and me a vodka filled roseberry cocktail.  What a nice way to watch the sun set.  

A mindful moment for us both, we wondered what my daddy would do, where would he sit and what he would drink?

After the sun had gone down we walked the 1.5 miles / 2.4km back home. We were sweating buckets, but mummy felt a great achievement having done this on her crutch with painful legs and backache.

“Next time you will let me take a tuk tuk mummy, won’t you!” I said. “We will walk again!” she replied.
