Sri Lankan Kankun

 

I am learning! From a bunch of green leaves to a tasty Sri Lankan dish.

Saute chopped garlic and onion, add tomato paste and water, soy sauce and seasoning (salt turmeric, paprika or chili flakes) and washed and chopped Kankun leaves (similar to spinach, much harder).  Simmer for a few minutes. Job done. 

Delicious on it\’s own, with rice or any other curry dishes.
