Saturday 27th March 2021

My very good friend Mala (from India married to a Sri Lankan) which I have acquired through IEA invited us to spend Saturday morning with her, however it ended up as a 6 hours visit. We played games, ate delicious Indian food she cooked, talked about nothing and everything, played Jenga and learned how to play the game Pallankuzhi originating from Tamil Nadu in Southern India; great fun.

When we left, it was like leaving family.

When we were coming to live in Sri Lanka, I never though I would find such a special friendship to truly treasure.
