Rounding off a Valentines Weekend

 

This morning Rennie cooked some terrific bread rolls and prepared four large patties of minced beef mixed with chopped onion and grated carrot.

On return from the riding school Emi presented Rennie and me each with a heart-shaped options list for how our burgers were to be prepared – which they were in time to enjoy an alfresco dinner in the warm embrace of the evening sun as it set over the sea.  Lovely, and another moment of mindfulness for how fortunate we are.
