We have a pet! We are now 5 in the small three bedroom apartment!

I bought a beautifully wrapped Chinese cabbage and I found a well grown caterpillar there. She left countless round eggs or excrement, but I couldn\’t throw it in the bin in these hard times of lock down when we don\’t have fresh fruits and vegetables easily available, could I ?!  So I washed it thoroughly and cooked delicious Miso (Chinese) soup.

I wrote to a friend if she wants the caterpillar for her daughter, to add to her existing two caterpillars, so she is not lonely. She was named Greta the caterpillar by Emilka, and we will see if we can get a butterfly from her.
