Misa asked to try horse riding to find out what his sister is obsessed with, and today was the day to find out.

Leaving home in pouring rain we wondered if there would be a lesson at all, but having booked the driver we decided to go anyway.  As we neared our destination the rain started to fade, on arrival it was light drizzle and within five minutes of arrival it stopped and the sun came out.  Perfect.

Being so tall, Misa was allocated horse Kahdrin just over 16 hands tall, and with no other horses available, Emi had one of her favourite ponies, Robin – though out of favour today as he was in stubborn mood!

Misa concentrated well for the full hour and enjoyed his experience; he’d like to go back for another lesson so time will tell whether he and his sister are both riding.

The pictures give a flavour of the lovely morning that was a welcome contrast to a very stressful week.
