I have become a baker

Friday 22nd May 2020

Thanks to the time I now have and if I manage to get some flour (someone can buy it somewhere, or I can buy it in one of the delivery vans that come to us, or a friend gives it to me), I bake. Often.

Anything.

Although cinnamon rolls are favourite with our children, now I am making an amazing bread (520 gr of flour, 420 ml lukewarm water, packet of dry yeast and teaspoon of salt). Misa said: “Mummy, it is like eating a piece of heaven!”

After all this yummy baking, why are we surprised that neither Steve nor I can lose even a gram of our weight! Steve’s at his target weight but has said that he wants to reach his stretch target so will reduce bread and cake, potato, white rice, pasta and cheese to get there – just like he did two years ago to reach his current weight.
