Father’s Day 2022

Misa and I took Dad in to Chipping Norton for him to choose what he wished for Father’s Day dinner, his choice once again being tasty steak from the excellent Coop butcher. Mum already had a large cauliflower, so cauliflower cheese was an easily chosen addition, to which I made a ratatouille from fresh vegetables and herbs cut minutes before in the garden. Mmmm. Their bouquet.
The empty plates that followed dinner were no real surprise, but what had been was shopping in somewhat cooler weather than we are used to; Misa and his granddad ended up sharing a blanket on the back seat during the drive home!
