Having tried but failed to find Bird Resort’s resident two elephant on the evening of Saturday 26th February to feed them the sugar cane you’ve seen Emi holding on the buggy in the Birds Resort post, they turned up near our villa as they came for their evening walk. Photography was a bit tricky for the first one because it was getting seriously dark and very difficult for the second because by then it was pitch black bar one very dim street lamp, but I’m delighted to have captured the essence of the occasion with Emi feeding sugar cane to each one. Her happiness speaks for itself.
