Unable to book a hair appointment until 9th of September, I had to brave it and ask Emilka and Steve to dye my hair to cover the growing greyish roots. I purchased the colour from a shop with the help of Emi as my fashion and hair advisor, and equipped with instructions, they started to work their way through my longish hair, first Emi and then Steve.

They did a pretty good job for a first time go as they had experience with what they were doing. I guess doing it on short hair like my mum’s would be so easy and a totally different story to when working with longish hair. I was impressed with their first go and then went to a professional hairdresser to cut it and blow dry it the next week. 

Our hairdresser in Sri Lanka, Asanka, would be impressed.
