We invited friends to dinner, so I cooked and baked all morning.

I wanted to do something original for desert, so I decided on swans from choux pastry. I still managed to make fruit cake to have with a coffee on the balcony and sourdough buns, which they took away for breakfast for the next morning.

I made spaghetti Bolognese for dinner – pasta is always safe for any child. Everything was eaten, amazing.

My mummy taught me well how to cook and bake, so thank you mummy.
