What better way to enjoy a sunset than on the balcony at home in the company of one of my local brothers, Aruna, with a Colombo No. 7 gin and Tasmanian tonic water brought home from Australia.  There isn’t any tonic water available to buy here apart from the horribly saccharin tasting local options so I planned ahead!

Distilled in the style of a London Dry – and nowadays distilled in the UK too having originated in Colombo out of necessity during the second world war – it is lovely.  The sunset and afterglow wasn’t bad, either!
