Saturday to Tuesday 24.-28. December 2022

An unusual Christmas celebration where the jungle meets the beach at a lovely small resort.  On one hand it didn’t feel like Christmas at all, but on the other as a family occasion but without the stress of a supermarket checkout queue or pressure to buy presents – the holiday was our gift – it felt just right. 

Delicious breakfasts and dinner a la carte, tropical cocktails, beautiful villas in the jungle but on the beach, people looking after our every wish and nothing to do but relax.  Believe me, the days were not long enough.

Being with family and friends-like-family, the caressing sun, the shaded pool or ocean waves by choice, or a short trip to the mangroves – a privilege to spend precious time together in such surroundings.
