Festive season would not be with a Vanocka (Christmas loaf – sweet bread) and as it is so easy for me to make it, I have baked at least ten of them so far and gave several away as a gift. The other night I baked two small one, just before midnight, and as we were all still up (apart from Emi), we had it with cup of tea as midnight feast. Why not? That is Christmas about – food and being together. I made one big one for us to take on holiday tomorrow morning – Christmas Eve in Czech style.
