Bathurst Mews
With regulations now meaning that both Rennie and myself had to travel to the Sri Lanka High Commission for visas rather than just myself as before, and if we wanted visas for the children without them being present we’d have to have official letters giving our permission, we decided that we’d take the easiest option and in so doing all enjoy a trip in to London.
The final mile of what had been a long visa process was quick, friendly and easy, and whilst it was taking place I took Rennie and the children on the same walk I had taken last time, just not in the rain on this occasion. After a tasty Full English we meandered through the lovely Bathurst Mews and its stables, appreciating the oasis of calm in a busy city. Emi enjoyed petting one of the horses in the stables and hopes one day that she will be able to ride in the adjacent Hyde Park. At £145 per hour, this doesn’t come cheap though.
