Yep, after a week physically at school, kids are back to home schooling. 

As cases of Covid-19 have risen dramatically after the Sinhala and Tamil New Years celebration (13. & 14. 4), the government put Sri Lanka on Level 3 alert of four levels.  Lots of rules, and tightened up regulations until at least 31st May. Schools are closed for all pupils so they are back to boring laptops and Microsoft Teams classrooms. 

On one hand there is no need to get up at 5.30 each day, but on the other hand they were happy to do that to be with friends and their teachers. 

We are not hopeful for schools to reopen this academic year at all, which is a real shame. I feel all kids have suffered during the Covid pandemic greatly.
