Our Turkish friends invited us to a BBQ; our last dinner with them on the roof top before we move apartments. They were the first family we made acquaintances with in April 2019 by the pool, inviting them to share with us an English afternoon tea to celebrate Easter.

Rabia makes these most delicious Turkish meatballs and grilled vegetables (in Turkey, it is all about meat and vegetables), and Mehmet does a good job grilling it. Emilka feels like sister with their daughter Lorin and their son Mirza said he likes Misa like his big brother.

A kind, genuine family and we are so very lucky to have them as our friends. 

The pictures are a contrast of a super city view (a little hazy due to pollution) and the colossal construction site we are leaving behind and which we won’t miss.
