Rennie will write of her birthday trip, but here are two images that I took of Misa during it that reinforce how he\’s growing from a boy in to a young man.

They were taken just before sunset on the top floor lounge of our hotel, beautiful modelling light streaming over the sea and through the panoramic windows. A perfect opportunity for some portrait photography in the few minutes before it was lost – and a relaxed son who was happy to be my model.
