We were back on the tower roof today, this time for evening dinner with our Turkish friends from Kurdistan.  A lovely family, we had much fun and laughter over dinner, and then when Rennie took the children down to the pool for an after dark swim, a fascinating natter about the national politics of Turkey, and the regional politics of Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey between whom Kurdistan has been divided up.  Easy conversation, great company and a lovely meal made for one of those priceless occasions that money cannot buy.
