Listening to the beautiful music of a professional harpist, enjoying friends’ company and then delicious food, to celebrate the 30th wedding anniversary of Steve’s very dear friends of more than 35 years and mine of nearly 25 years (they were actually the first people Steve introduced me to when we started to date). 

The evening before, Steve had shared the precious final servings of a special bottle of Southern Comfort with our friend Andy who had given it to him as a gift about 30 years ago.  Special, both because it was not regular Southern Comfort, and to be able to share it with the friend who gave it; by pure good fortune, Steve found it when unpacking a box the night before we left home.
