Before we knew it, we were calling Uber to take us from Manly to Sydney Airport and our journey back to Colombo.  A phenomenal holiday had passed in a flash, yet we’d also lost all track of time and felt we’d been away for much longer than we had.

Easy check-in, a bit of shopping for liquour we can’t buy in Sri Lanka, a tax refund on some purchases, a comfy lounge and then the start of the long haul.  All went without a hitch and at about 01:00am local time on Friday 24th we were walking through our front door.  Holiday over but worth every investment made in its success.  We much hope to return and take our children with us.
