Twenty-two years ago, we had our wedding in my hometown of Krnov in the Czech Republic.  I remember pretty much everything what happened that day, and will forever remember what happened 22 years later too as we had another unforgettable day but this time at the Raffles Resort in the Maldives.  Celebrating two years late was well worth the delay.

Starting with a sunrise as described in the previous post, ending with celebratory dinner on the beach with the live band playing our wedding song of Rod Stewart’s verion of “Have I told you lately that I love you?”, and in between snorkelling and relaxing.  What else could we ask for? It turned out that the surprises were not over because on our return to the villa it was lovely to find the bed made up as shown – and Rod himself singing for us on repeat courtesy of our attentive butler.  Very special.
