Our maid Syiana has been with us for over 2 years now, coming once a week for 4 hours. She is hard working, reliable and we treat her like part of our family. 

It is an unwritten rule that employees should get a bonus before Christmas, normally an extra month salary.  Me being practical, I brought lots of nice goodies for her and her family and made her a massive hamper to take home on her last working day this year.  It was pretty heavy indeed and I hope she had the same pleasure from it as I did when preparing it for her.   Lots of nice treats as well as practical things.
