Family meal – my labour of love

I am very proud of myself to prepare this delicious colourful dish for my family. I had to conquer a fear of dead prawns with their heads, de-shell them, take their spines out and wash them thoroughly.  I used gloves, but it was still a very unpleasant feeling.

Cooking this dish was a pleasure though, as I used my imagination and some recipes I found to create this authentic laksa curry for my family.

Even Emilka had 2 king prawns to eat. By unanimous agreement the result was delicious.
