Our apartment initially had an ADSL internet connection that typically gave about 12 Mbps download and a truly paltry 300Kbps upload.  Add frequent disconnections and it was frustrating in the extreme.

Every apartment in the complex has fibre directly to it though, so after some weeks of going round in circles between supplier, letting agent and owner, today was the big day.

I chose the package advertised as up to 100Mbps download and 50Mbps upload, and even over WiFi am getting very nearly those numbers.
