Unlocking our door for the first time in 1,420 days – as Rennie said in the last post, with young adults – no longer children.  

We were greeted to a lovely welcome by our lovely neighbours who had decorated our home with bunting and invited us round for tea – and a personalised cake.

Our good fortune continued, and this special arrival was particularly welcome before the months of unpacking and settling-in ahead; as I write these words on 6th October it is still a work in progress – even if with good progress in some of the rooms!
